High-Frequency Facial therapy
This treatment is not new. It appeared a long time ago in the late 1800s. It was developed by the scientist Nikola Tesla and was referred to as the Violet Ray. The ray was used for infection treatment, and healing wounds purposes before “modern antibiotics” were invented. Up until 1892, a French biophysicist Jacques-Arsène d’Arsonval first introduced the application of high-frequency therapy to treat skin diseases. In the 1970s due to the positive results of high-frequency electrical stimulation, the therapy was used widely in the beauty industry in European salons, and became popular in North America by 1980.
There are 2 types of gas that are infused in the tube to serve different skin treatment purposes
Argon (shown as a purple color glow) is used for infusing the oxygen into the skin which converts into purifying ozone which helps to kill the Acnes and regulate the sebaceous glands. Because the Acne bacteria couldn’t survive in oxygen, this can be considered a safe way to treat acne skin disease, and prevent break-outs.
Neon (shown as an orange color glow) helps to treat aging/ mature skin by stimulating collagen stimulation and enhancing blood circulation.
A mix of Argon and Neon: Nowadays, there is a new renovation that allows a mix of 2 types of gas to treat both Acne and aging concerns.
